Privacy policy

Rozoomi ("we", "us") provides AI assistants that businesses add to their website, WhatsApp and Messenger. This policy explains what personal data we handle and why. Questions: privacy@rozoomi.com.
Two kinds of data, two roles
- Your account (we are the controller). When you sign up we hold your name, email address, sign-in details and billing status.
- Your customers' conversations (we are the processor). When someone chats with a business's assistant, we process the messages and any contact details they choose to share on behalf of that business, under our terms. The business is the controller and answers for its own privacy notice.
What we collect and why
- Account details — to run your account and contact you about it (contract).
- Billing — handled by Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers (contract, legal obligation).
- Business content you upload — FAQs, prices and documents, used only to answer questions for your assistant (contract).
- Conversations and enquiries — to answer the visitor, pass their enquiry to the business and, if the business enables it, report the enquiry to its Meta or Google ads (the business's legitimate interests).
- Usage and security logs — to keep the service reliable, prevent abuse and measure costs (our legitimate interests).
We do not sell personal data and we do not use your or your customers' data to train AI models.
How long we keep it
- Chat conversations: deleted automatically after 90 days.
- Enquiries (leads): kept for the business for up to 2 years, then deleted automatically, unless the business deletes them sooner.
- Cached answers to common opening questions: up to 7 days. Questions that look like they contain contact details are never cached.
- Account data: while your account is open, and removed when you ask us to close it (billing records are kept as long as the law requires).
Who we share it with
Only the providers we need to run the service, under data-processing terms:
- Amazon Web Services (hosting, storage, email and AI models via Amazon Bedrock) — EU (Ireland) region.
- Vercel (website hosting).
- Stripe (payments).
- Google (if you sign in with Google).
- Meta and Google Analytics — only when a business connects its own ad accounts, and only for that business's enquiries.
Cookies
We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. Our site analytics are cookie-free. The chat assistant on a business's website sets no cookies of its own; if that website already uses Meta or Google advertising cookies, the assistant can pass their ids along with an enquiry so the business can see which ad worked.
AI
Answers are generated by an AI model from the business's own content. Prices are calculated from the business's own rates, not guessed. Every assistant is labelled as an AI assistant.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, or object to how we use it. For a chat with a business, contact that business first — we will help them respond. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
